Why.

My passion for Africa inspired this blog. It started off as national pride in Ghana and has grown into a full-blown “Africa deserves better“.

As I get older and wiser, my desire to actively work on reducing misrepresentation of the continent increases. This means ensuring that the African perspective, and its socio-historical context, is always a part of wider conversations. It is pertinent, especially today, that Africa has a seat at the table. That is the only way we will be able to tell our own stories.

So pull up a chair, get comfortable and let’s get down to business.

“I am not African because I was born in Africa but because Africa was born in me.”

Kwame Nkrumah
